We believe creation is worship, so we worship in the wild places and graft our worship into the full, wild beauty of the wilderness. We open ourselves to the wisdom of God made manifest in the natural world.
What to Expect:
A typical service is relaxed but reverent, includes walking, talking, and singing. We discuss the gospel together and offer contemplative time and communion. In order to integrate into the environment, we walk about a quarter mile with two stops. We walk together into the woods because the wild natural world is a part of our congregation and our worship; we want to be fully integrated into it.
Join us rain or shine—there’s no bad weather, just bad clothing! We share hot cider in cold months and cold lemonade in hot months.
